This webinar will help municipal HR professionals manage incivility and prevent escalation during difficult performance conversations. Participants will work through a realistic municipal performance appraisal scenario, applying best practices such as emotional regulation, purposeful openings, acknowledgment, and collaborative problem-solving.

Through reflection, guided decisions, and small group discussions, they will learn practical ways to reduce defensiveness and reinforce respectful workplace norms.
